General Terms and Conditions

1. Validity

The photographs, texts, graphics, information and characteristics reproduced illustrating the products are given for information purposes only and are subject to change without notice. However, in the event of an error found attributable to ECORDAGE, the customer of ecordage.fr may exercise his right to return the parts concerned within 30 days following the delivery date.

All images are non-contractual and are presented for information purposes only. They cannot therefore be the subject of a claim.

2. Prices

The prices of our doormats are expressed in Euros, all taxes included, excluding any shipping costs. Regardless of the country of origin, all orders are payable in Euros.

ECORDAGE reserves the right to modify its prices at any time but the products will be invoiced on the basis of the rates in effect at the time the order is registered.

3. Orders

Orders are made online.

When you click on the "Checkout" button, you declare that you accept the order and the general terms and conditions of sale. The data recorded by ecordage.fr constitutes proof of all transactions between ecordage.fr and its customers.

4. Payment

We offer two payment methods:

6 - Send your check, mentioning your order number on the back of the check, to the following address:

The check is first banked, then the order will be sent. Bank checks can only payable by a bank domiciled in metropolitan France.

5. Delivery

Delivery of an order is only made after full payment in accordance with the order form.

6. Return

Satisfied or refunded, you have 30 working days from receipt to return the product that does not suit you. Any shipping and return costs will then be your responsibility. Only the price of the product(s) purchased will be refunded. In the event of the customer's wish for an exchange or refund, inform us by e-mail to this effect and return the item at your expense in, intact with documentation to the following address:

If the item is returned incomplete or damaged, a non-refund or a discount may be applied according to the diagnosis made by Ecordage, which will justify itself to the customer by providing them with a document containing this diagnosis; Our refund will be made within fourteen working days after receipt of the products by us. The refund will be made through the payment method chosen by the customer at the time of ordering.

7. Availability

We will honor orders within the limits of available stocks. In the event of proven unavailability of the ordered product, or in the event of non-acceptance by the customer of the delivery time imposed by this unavailability, Ecordage will offer, if possible, a replacement product to its customer who will retain full latitude to accept or refuse it. In the event that the customer refuses the replacement product, Ecordage cannot under any circumstances be held liable due to the unavailability of the ordered product. In the event of unavailability of all or part of the order, and refusal of the delivery time or replacement products by the customer, reimbursement will be made through the payment method chosen by the customer at the time of ordering, at the latest within fifteen days from receipt of the sums paid by the customer.

Ecordage cannot be held responsible for the non-performance of the sales contract concluded in the event of stock shortage, force majeure, disruption, total or partial strike, in particular of postal services and means of transport and/or communications, flood, fire.

Ecordage will not incur any liability for any indirect and/or direct damages due to loss of business, loss of profit, damages or costs, which could arise from the purchase of our products.

8. Delivery

Doormats and other products purchased on ecordage.fr are only delivered to mainland France and EU countries. Doormats and other products are delivered to the delivery address you provided during the order process.

The processing time for an order is made up of the preparation time (the majority of orders are processed within 48 hours) and the delivery time which depends on the carrier. However, Ecordage will have the possibility of splitting deliveries. Any participation in processing and shipping costs will only be invoiced for a single shipment.

Ecordage cannot be held responsible for the consequences due to a delay in delivery. For any order not shipped within fifteen days of the order, a cancellation and refund proposal will be sent to you. It will be up to you to maintain your order or not. In the event of an abnormal delay, an email will be sent to you. In the event of payment by check, the order will only be processed upon receipt of the check and delivered after it has been banked. Consequently, the deadlines applicable in this case are those on the day the check is received.
You must check the general condition of the package when you receive it at your home and before accepting delivery. However, if you accept a damaged package, no claim can be made to Ecordage. Indicate on it in the form of handwritten reservations accompanied by your signature any anomaly concerning the delivery (damaged packaging). In the event of a package delivered in your absence (deposit in the mailbox), you must issue reservations to the carrier no later than two working days following receipt of the package and send a copy of this letter to :

If one or more doormats need to be returned to us (non-conformity), they must be returned within fifteen working days following delivery. Any claim made outside of this period will not be accepted. The return of the products subject to the order must be made in their original condition.

9. Refund

- Refunds: PLEASE NOTE: you must follow the procedures described in the articles mentioned above and below, which form an integral part of the general conditions of sale.

- We undertake to refund or exchange any doormats that do not match your order. You must make any complaints regarding items that do not match your order by mail on the day of delivery or at the latest within fourteen working days following delivery. Complaints should be sent by email or mail to :

- On your claim, you must indicate the contact details of the purchaser, your delivery note number, the product references appearing on the delivery note and the reasons for your claim. Ecordage will proceed to exchange or refund the product(s). The return of products in the event of a product error, defect or non-conformity can only be accepted for complete doormats, in their original condition with a copy of the purchase invoice. No refund of return costs incurred before the response from customer service will be supported.

10. Warranty

For all products purchased on ecordage.fr the customer will benefit from the invoice date :

The customer must return the doormat(s) concerned with the purchase invoice. Upon receipt and within a maximum of 72 working hours, Ecordage will inform the customer of its decision and the procedure implemented; under no circumstances before knowing this decision may the customer involve anyone in the possible repair. In the event of failure to comply with this rule, the product will no longer be guaranteed.

Generally speaking, guarantees are only granted after receipt of the documents requested for the constitution of the file and analysis of the disputed product by Ecordage to whom the customer must send it:

When supported, the guarantees are executed at the address above. In all cases, when the after-sales service is requested, it will inform the customer of its diagnosis, its conclusion and its proposal by telephone or by email.

The following are not guaranteed under any circumstances:

- Doormats that have undergone modifications by the customer.

- Defects and their consequences related to use not in accordance with the use for which the doormat is intended.

- Defects and their consequences related to any external cause.

11. Applicable

Disputes: This contract is subject to French law. The language of this contract is French ( this is a translated copy). In the event of a dispute, any claim relating to the execution or interpretation of the contract must be submitted in writing to Ecordage in advance, either by e-mail, accessible on the website www.ecordage.fr. Any legal action will be brought before the competent courts, alternatively the jurisdiction of the place where the defendant resides or the place of actual delivery of the item(s).

Furthermore, and in accordance with Article 14 of Regulation (EU) No. 524/2013 of 21 May 2013 on online dispute resolution for consumer disputes, Ecordage informs you that the European Commission has set up a platform intended to collect consumer complaints following an online purchase in order to then forward them to the competent national mediators.

5. Acceptance

These general terms and conditions of sale govern the contractual relations between Ecordage and its customer, both parties accepting without reservation. These general terms and conditions of sale shall prevail over any other conditions appearing in any other document, unless prior, express and written exemption is granted by Ecordage. These general and specific terms and conditions of sale may be modified at any time without notice. They are applicable in mainland France.
